Occasionally, larger varicose veins may underlie spider veins. It is advisable
to have these surgically treated prior to sclerotherapy. |

Following treatment, small inflamed patched will be visible- these will
subside within a few days. Bruising may occur at the site of the injections.
There may be some skin discolouration, but this will fade away gradually
within 2 to 3 months. Other side effects are extremely rare, and these will
be explained during your consultation. |
